Padahal kalau diukur umur pemakaian timing belt ini baru 30.000rb km, dengan pemakaian normal alias jarang sekali dibejek abis. Sebagai catatan pada saat turun mesin dan ganti waterpump pun mekanik melihat bahwa kondisi timing belt masih baik. Kemarin setelah diukur angka di tripmeter baru menunjukkan 66.6 km sudah harus keluar duit 50.000,- lagi di SPBU. Penyakit kronisnya datang lagi. Bayangkan aja dengan uang segitu bensin yang didapat 11.11 ltr, sudah ngerti dong 66 km/11 ltr = 6 km/ltr. Kalau menurut dunia otomotif angka ini biasanya didapatkan pada mobil2 tenaga badak. Kalau si Tomir dengan angka ini juga punya tenaga badak fine-fine saja, nggak masalah memang harusnya konsumsi BBM berbanding lurus dengan performa, mau kencang harus terima resiko boros, kencang tapi irit?? ke laut aja, boros tapi lelet? mending ancurin aja. Nah kondisi terakhir ini nih yang dialami si Tomir sudah boros leeeeeeleeeeeeetnyaaa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sebagai catatan, apa sih yang kurang dari si Tomir?? Kaliper dan Master Kaliper dibersihkan dan dilumasi supaya lancar bergoyang, karena seminggu ini rem kiri depan mengeluarkan suara mencicit. Setelah bersih dan lancar, roda dipasang dan dikencangkan pelan2 agar nempelnya rata, suara mencicit keluar setelah tuker2an roda dengan mobil saudara dan pemasangan dicurigai tidak rata.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Selesai coba di test drive, bunyi mencicit hilang dan tanpa disengaja juga bunyi kruk2 ketika rem di injak dan deselerasi juga ikut hilang, berarti bukan inner joint tapi memang pemasangan roda yang tidak rata mengakibatkan posisi rem berubah ditambah tidak lancarnya master kaliper 'bermain' untuk menyesuaikan dengan posisi baru.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oke, urusan cicit mencicit dan krak kruk selesai, hari sabtu langsung ke bengkel buat ganti bearing roda. Kedua yang nyerah inner joint sebelah kiri, pada saat deselerasi terdengar 'kruk-kruk', ini juga masih perkiraan.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tapi walaupun masih tahap kira-kira tak ada salahnya diganti aja, yah sekalian meremajakan kaki-kaki yang memang sama sekali belum pernah diganti. Untuk itulah kemarin pergi ke Atrium tepatnya SOHIB Motor. Karena waktu tinggal 3 hari lagi jadi dikerjakan malam ini juga biar nanti kalau ada apa2 masih sempat masuk bengkel he he he...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Pulang dari kantor mampir ke Ace Hardware beli CarbJet 1 kaleng cukup kali yeee.&lt;br /&gt;2. Buka filter Karburator dan Busi.&lt;br /&gt;3. Semprot lubang2 di karburator setelah itu semprot secara keseluruhan, biarkan sesaat sampai kotoran turun, hati2 jangan kena mata perih banget.&lt;br /&gt;4. Giliran semprot kepala piston lewat lubang busi, caranya posisikan piston pada posisi top, pasangan piston yang naik turun adalah no 1 dan 4, no 2 dan 3. Jadi bersihkan secara bergantian terserah mana yang ada pada posisi top. semprot agak banyak biar larut kotorannya, biarkan sekitar 5 menitan.&lt;br /&gt;5. Semprot lubang pada Intake yang menghubungkan selang PCV ke intake, jadi kudu dicopot dulu selangnya.&lt;br /&gt;6. Start mobil, sebelumnya lubang busi dikover dengan koran biar nggak muncrat, starternya jangan dikit2 agak panjang makanya aki kudu bagus.&lt;br /&gt;7. Bersihkan busi cukup semprot dengan Carbjet dan disikat pake sikat kawat.&lt;br /&gt;8. Pasang busi dan selang PCV yang menuju intake, ini kudu dibantu gas biar cepet hidupnya, setelah mesin hidup bejek dah gas, hati2 anak2 jangan ada dibelakang secara asepnya ngebul banget, pantengin gas sampe sekitar 2 menitan biar kotoran pada keluar.&lt;br /&gt;9. Matikan mesin, terus ulangi point 3 - 9 sampai puas, semalem ai sampe cairan CarbJetnya abis.&lt;br /&gt;10. Lupa, ini kebetulan pake CarbJet, bisa juga pakai Engine Conditioner laen kaya Gzox, DCS dll. Caranya ya sami mawon. Berani coba? harus berani dong biar nggak terus2an ke bengkel buat yang ginian aja, sekalian tambah2 ilmu.&lt;br /&gt;11. Tau tuh kemaren masih normal pas pergi pagi tadi abis ngebut di Sudirman tahu-tahu ada bunyi kletak kletok di bagian roda, tadinya dikira cakram macet secara lagi musim ujan, pertolongan pertama semprot semua bagian yg dikira2 macet dengan WD40 tapi bukannya hilang malah semakin keras, terpaksa pasang lampu hazard sambil jalan pelan2 dipinggiran.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Setelah sampe kantor ambil dongkrak dari bagasi, dongkrak sebelah kanan terus diputer, aman. Gantian dongkrak sebelah kiri terus diputer, bener ada kletak2 tapi bukan dari rem. Sialan sudah bisa ditebak nih pasti CV Joint. Panggil si Rohman buat jemput mobil ke kantor, setelah dibongkar si Rohman telepon bener CV joint minta diganti, cilakanya lagi bearing roda juga ikut2an minta diganti. Why? nggak tahu yang pasti ada masalah dengan jantungnya &lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;(baca:karburator) &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;yang sudah 3x di operasi.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Serba salah memang, kondisi dari karburator si Tomir memang sudah tidak bisa dibilang baik, wajar umurnya sudah 10 tahun &lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;*kalau di Singapore masa kontraknya dah habis nih mobil*  &lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;dan parahnya daleman karburator Timor boleh dibilang sudah lenyap dari muka bumi. Dilema memang bagi pengguna karburator, disimpan berat, dibuang sayang. Harus rajin-rajin eksperimen menggunakan parts eceran yang tentu tidak juga bisa dibilang baik kualitasnya walaupun baru. Terutama bagian pengabutan bahan bakar, KARBURATOR!!! biang kerok Timor SOHC yg paling sering menjadi keluhan sebagian besar pengguna. Memang untuk ukuran sekarang karburator sudah tidak efisien dan sudah sangat ketinggalan teknologi, selain juga tidak ramah lingkungan.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mengapa KARBURATOR?? kata orang2 yang bersinggungan langsung dengan peluncuran Timor edisi perdana, karburator dipilih karena pada saat itu sebagian masyarakat otomotif di Indonesia masih belum melek dengan yang namanya INJEKSION. Bahkan ada sebagian orang yang agak alergi kalau sudah mendengar kata2 injeksion. Padahal pada negara asalnya Timor yaitu korea dengan nickname Sephia, karburator sudah tidak dipergunakan bahkan pada awal tahun 90an pabrik2 karburator di korea sudah ditutup. Untuk Timor/Sephia baik SOHC maupun DOHC semua menggunakan injeksi.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Kembali ke karburator si Tomir, sejak dulu sangat susah didapatkan setingan yang tepat, kenapa? saya tidak tahu. Kalau menurut ahli2 karburator, karburator Timor terlalu banyak lubang2 halus, vakum2 dan segala tetek bengek yang menjadikan agak lebih susah mendapatkan setingan yang terbaik.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Karena itulah sampai saat ini karburator si Tomir masih bermasalah, mulai dari terlalu boros, ndut2an dan RPM yang kadang naik kadang juga terlalu turun. Karena itulah bengkel si Tomir saat ini masih melakukan berbagai eksperimen supaya didapatkan seting yang mendekati ideal, jujur saja untuk mendapatkan yang benar2 ideal mustahal karena umur karburator yang sudah 10 tahun dengan spare parts yg sudah tidak tersedia di pasaran.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Minggu nanti rencananya karburator si Tomir kembali akan diOH lagi mumpung masih garansi setelah turun mesin. Apalagi sekarang sudah sangat ngebul dan tenaga sudah banyak berkurang. Perkiraan teknisi, seal valve sudah mengeras atau ring piston yang sudah terkikis sehingga oli menyusup ke ruang pembakaran.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sabtu 10 November 2007 si Tomir mulai dibedah di Timor Kp. Melayu, untuk awal di Top OH dulu sekalian melihat kondisi Piston. Melayu minta Rohman buat nguras minyak rem sekalian di bersihkan, atas saran si Rohman mending sekalian piringnya di bor biar pendinginan lebih baik. Dari dulu memang sempat terpikir untuk melakukan pembolongan piringan, selain memang betul apa yang dikatakan Rohman untuk ventilasi udara, piringan bolong juga ikut menambah nilai estetika.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Setelah urusan rem kelar, ada satu lagi service khusus dari si Rohman. Ceritanya ketika mencoba si Tomir dahi si Rohman sempat mengeryit, heran ini mobil pake gigi 1 tanpa AC terus dibejek mesin langsung ngelitik hebat, ketika pindah ke gigi 2 dan akselerasi ngelitiknya lebih gawat. Kalau menurut mekanik2 laen yang pernah saya tanya mesin ngelitik pasti jawabannya umum banget, kerak di kepala piston yang membuat kompresi naik yg menyebabkan mesin ngelitik cara mengatasinya pasti bersihkan kerak di piston kalo nggak derajat pengapian diturunkan jawaban ini nggak salah, tapi bagaimana setelah semua dilakukan ngelitiknya tidak hilang seperti keadaan si Tomir? Nah kalo si Rohman punya pikiran laen bukan tertuju ke langkah2 pembersihan kerak dan atur ulang timing, tapi langsung ngarah ke distributor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Perkiraan pertama distributor sudah rusak, ini parah gantinya mahal. Tapi setelah dibongkar ketahuan bahwa setting belimbing pada distributor tidak lurus (kurang ngerti tidak lurus dengan apa nih? nanti tanya lagi) kedua dia cek posisi timing belt, takut loncat ternyata nggak. Sempat lama juga setting itu daleman distributor, mana mobil pake nggak mau idup lagi setelah distel. Akhirnya si Rohman nyetel posisi pulley timing kearah top ( ini juga nggak ngerti maksudnya) katanya tadi dia cuma coba2 nah kalo sudah gini, posisinya bisa disesuaikan. Alhasil si Tomir langsung greng lagi, yang lebih menggembirakan ketika AC dihidupkan dan kabel gas disentak ngelitik tidak terdengar, nah lho. Begitu juga ketika di tes jalan pake AC yang biasanya pada saat mau akselerasi leleeeeeet plus ngelitiiiiik, kali ini langsung wuss-wuss.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nah bagi yang mengalami hal yang sama (SOHC) sudah pusing ngebersihin pala piston dan stel timing masih juga ngelitik, bisa tuh nyambangin si Rohman minta stelin distributor. Melayu buat benerin a/c yang sudah nggak dingin lagi. Setelah membayar sekitar 700k a/c kembali dingin maknyuss... sebelum pulang bisik2 dulu sama si Rohman si kepala mekanik, "Man, gue pinjem jackstand lu bentar ajah, besok gua balikin." akhirnya dikasih pinjem.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Habis berbuka, langsung ngeluarin si Tomir buat diparkir di pinggir jalan sambil dicopotin atu-atu bannya sambil masang jackstand (ternyata berat juga yang sampe keringetan). Malem ini pelek si Tomir mau gue cat, mumpung tetangga pada rame sampe sahur, paling nggak ada temen begadang. Cape boss, secara pelek gua kerok dulu pake aluminium yang buat ngerok pantat kuali, soalnya jorok banget ini pelek mana ada empat lagi. Setelah subuh baru dah dilapisi clear coat dah tunggu sampe siang biar kering abis zhuhur baru pasang di Tomir lagi. Solusinya? bubut, nggak jamin sudah pernah coba malah lebih parah alias harus benar2 ahli, belum lagi lapisan cakram menjadi lebih tipis dan lebih cepat habis.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Paling enak ya ganti baru. Tadinya coba2 cari barang aftermarket yang mutunya bagus biar awet dan lebih cieet, tapi berhubung dana yang tersedia mefet dan masih banyak hal2 lain yang butuh perbaikan, maka disimpulkan untuk memanfaatkan dana yang ada semaksimal mungkin. Hari sabtu udah aja ke Atrium beli DCS yang katanya bagus untuk bebersih ruang bakar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sampe di rumah langsung deh bongkar2 sambil di temeni si Botak kecil yang kerjanya cuma ngerepoti doang (belum ngarti kalo disuruh2).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Busi langsung cabut, itu yang nama pala busi sudah item legam dah kondisinya, untung masih bisa buat nyalain mesin.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dapet informasi dari teman di YM ada 2 cara bebersih kerak, cara pertama SCC lupa gua kepanjangannya disemprot melalui throttle body jadi lebih simple dan aman. Cara kedua DCC nah ini tau gua kepanjangannya Deep Carbon Cleaning, ini untuk pembersihan kerak yang sudah mengendap parah disemprot melalui lubang busi, cuma cara ini agak riskan harus orang yang biasa soalnya silinder harus berada pada posisi TMA biar liner nggak tergores oleh sisa kerak yang rontok.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oke deh, biar aman ambil cara pertama, semprot melalui throttle body dalam keadaan mesin mati sudah itu dibiarken 30 menit, baru deh mesin dihidupkan sambil digeber2 plus disemprot lagi. Ingat waktu ke Timor Kp. Melayu di sana mekaniknya mainin timing belt supaya silindernya naik turun, cuma itukan dalam kondisi turun setengah, kalo masih kaya gini gimana ya? Akhirnya telp. sodara, caranya puter roda dengan perseneling diposisi 5, pelan2 aja, biar tau posisi silindernya colok dengan kawat nanti keliatan tuh kawat naek turun, nah pada posisi kawat naek paling tinggi sebelum turun itulah posisi TMA, bah jago juga ini sodara gua, apa dia juga sok tau aja kali ya?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sambil baca Basmalah langsung dah semprot sampe puas. Keliatan loh keraknya agak berkurang! pas mesin dihidupkan langsung dah ngebul kaya fogging nyamuk DBD. Ajak muter2 sedikit sudah itu bongkar lagi terus semprot lagi sampe abis. Dah semprotan terakhir ini gua diemin sampe besok paginya.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Besok pagi baru dah digeber lagi, yang namanya jalanan itu penuh sama asepnya si tomir, nggak papa deh cuma sebentar ini ngasepnya yang penting puas mobil jadi lumayan enakan tarikannya. Karena kesal kaca digoyang-goyang sambil ditarik paksa supaya bisa naik, ternyata tak bisa!!! yah mau tak mau bongkar dah, setelah dibongkar bingung ini mau diapakan? (sok tau sih) ya udah sikat aja semua mur dicopot, biasa gaya orang nggak tahu bisanya cuma bisa digoyang2, akhirnya ada juga yang copot (rel kaca bagian bawah) setelah diperhatikan lapisan beludru sudah mampus dan keras bikin kaca seret.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Karena tidak ada gel cair buat semprot2 biar licin, akhirnya disemprot aja pake wd40, bodo' ah yang penting licin dikit. sebelum dipasang ketempat semula kaca coba dinaikkan wesss kaca bergerak malu2 sampai akhirnya menutup. Masih agak seret ternyata, yo sudah semua yang bersenggolan dengan sisi kaca semprot lagi pake wd40, rel tengah dilulur dengan gemuk Tamiya, setelah beberapa kali naik turun akhirnya kaca dengan semangatnya bergerak lebih lancar dari kaca samping sopir.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pasang semua lagi, sudah rapi coba lagi naik turun, lancarrrrrrr. Kabel penghubung safety belt light juga sudah mampus tak tau kemana.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Bongkar Dashboard bagian bawah :&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Banyak Sekrup yang sudah tak ada, bikin suara berisik. Plus kabel2 bekas pemakai terdahulu yang tidak dirapikan sepertinya bekas pasang radio 2 meteran, langsung disikat potong semua biar rapi. Sekrup2 yang kurang sementara pakai sekrup biasa dulu, toh hasilnya sama ngiket juga.&lt;br /&gt;Sekalian liat-liat terminal fuse, soalnya central lock kadang hidup kadang mate takut ada yang kendor setelah dicek nggak ada tuh, tapi pas digoyang2 central lock langsung hidup setelah itu mati lagi apa ada yang putus ditengah ya?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Bongkar Rem :&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Silinder sebelah kanan yang untuk menekan pad sudah rada macet harus digemuk biar lancar maju mundurnya, cuma belum berani bongkar. Sama nggak ya dengan motor? waktu bongkar punya Ninja dulu silindernya ditarik keluar trus digemuk, masukin lagi udah dikocok dah pedalnya sambil buka klep angin biar angin palsunya keluar sambil tambah minyak rem buat yang kebuang, udah deh ngeremnya ngesot lagi dah. Kenapa? yah nggak tau, mungkin ruang pembakaran sudah menumpuk kerak, soalnya untuk mengakali supaya agak mendingan ngelitiknya timing pengapian disetel mundur banget.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Harus bebersih kali ye? paling nggak turun separuh kalo nggak turun semua overhaul, mending jual!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lagi nabung dulu buat lahiran baby, jadi budget untuk si Tomir dialihkan dulu. Niatnya cuma sebatas cuci sambil nge-wax dikit, cuma karena lagi semangat akhirnya bongkar lampu depan buat di cuci dalemannya.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Menurut orang2 yang sudah ahli, mencuci lampu depan rada tricky, soalnya ditakutkan akan berembun bila mengeringkan dan memasangnya tidak sempurna. Sudah dapat diduga bahwa suara metal beradu metal berasal dari centerpiece AC. Dulu pertama kali beli si Tomir, gejala bunyi sudah ada tapi masih halus, pihak bengkel sudah memberitahu agar berhati-hati karena centerpiece sudah minta diganti, biasalah kalau belum hancur bener belum mau ganti. Akhirnya kejadian, centerpice yang nempel di pulley AC rontok menghasilkan suara yang membuat tukang nasi uduk langganan loncat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7387/3321/1600/ACCenterPiece.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7387/3321/200/ACCenterPiece.jpg" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Kurang begitu ngerti fungsi dari &lt;a href="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7387/3321/1600/MagneticCLutch.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7387/3321/200/MagneticCLutch.jpg" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;centerpiece, tapi yang pasti centerpiece ini akan lengket dengan pulley AC begitu arus mengaliri magnetic clutch yang juga menempel di Pulley AC. Menurut info yang didapat centerpiece jebol dikarenakan magnetic clutch sudah abnormal jadi menghasilkan panas berlebih dan membakar karet yang menyatukan 2 bagian dari centerpiece, segitiga dan lingkaran.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7387/3321/1600/ACCompressorPulley.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7387/3321/200/ACCompressorPulley.jpg" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Karena bantalan karet habis, pin yang menyatukan segitiga dan lingkaran langsung menghantam bibir bekas bantalan karet dan ikut bergesekan dengan pulley, jadilah setelah 6 bulan didiamkan pin tersebut benar2 habis, ketika segitiga dan lingkaran tidak menyatu masing-masing berputar sendiri-sendiri mengakibatkan suara berisik, dan paling parah ikut menggerus permukaan pulley.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hari sabtu berangkat ke Timor Kp. Pengen diremajakan nggak ada duit, kalopun ada pengennya langsung ganti mesin. Biang keroknya cuma satu nih mesin 'KARBURATOR'. Coba SOHC Timor pake injeksi juga ya? cakep kali.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Satu lagi yang di inset namanya vakum apa ya? sudah bocor, pengen ganti nggak tau namanya.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cuma yang bikin seneng ini mesin dari beli nggak pernah bikin mobil nongkrong di pinggir jalan (jangan dah).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pernah ditanya sama teman kantor yang bapaknya pernah pake Timor yang dijual karena sering &lt;em&gt;overheat&lt;/em&gt;. Wah si Tomir nggak pernah tuh, malah pada suatu waktu terdengar suara &lt;em&gt;klotak&lt;/em&gt; yang cukup keras dari dalam kap mesin, dikira batu ternyata tutup radiator copot karena dipasang tidak sempurna.
